I started this blog during the winter break of 2008, following my first semester of college. My initial intention was to create an intimate self growth avenue, and an outlet for my personal experiences. At the time I was extremely interested in SEO/PPC/SEM and other online monetization techniques. Since it’s creation SorBor has drifted from SEO information to tips on surviving college life. This blog is rapidly evolving and will be ever changing with my personal life and interests.
My name is Henry, I am from the Lone Star State and as of writing this am currently 19. I am attending a public university in my state, and am currently studying Anthropology & Emergency Administration and Planning. My dream jobs are a business anthropologist (using anthropological techniques to increase productivity) , a forensic anthropologist (think Bones), or working internationally on disaster mitigation, preparedness, response, and recover.
What do I spend my time doing??
I have a wide rang of intrests and hobbies and they are always changing. Currently I spend my time doing the following:
- Bodybuilding – I first started working out in March 2009, I have started to read a lot on the sport of bodybuilding. I enjoy the stress reduction and like to keep my body in shape. I started out rather scrawny and am making fast progress, hopefully in a couple years I will have a dream body.
- Website Engineering - I enjoy building websites on diverse topics such as pygmy marmosets, spear hunting, dire wolves, the bubonic plague, and other odd areas. I have many ideas for creating online business’s that I hope to develop. I make some pocket change with Google Adsense, but I don’t really do it for the money.
- Creating Content – This includes blogging, writing website content, or writing articles for customers. I enjoy storing my thoughts in this blog, and helping others through writing. I don’t think that I’m the best writer, but I enjoy honing my skills.
- Reading - I’m an avid reader and am currently enjoying reading lifestyle design non-fiction books for helping me improve my life. I also enjoy reading fiction right before going to bed. You can see what I’m currently reading at my Readernaut.
- Doing the College Thing – I like to hang out with my friends, sit around and talk about nothing. I enjoy going to parties and other activities usually associated with college. Unfortunately it takes away time from updating the blog, but I don’t regret it.
- Fishing – This is my favorite outdoor activity. My dad is quite the fishermen and he has taught me well, I love to go fishing with him.
