Easy on page SEO Checklist

Here is a quick guide of on page SEO tatics that everyone should use when creating a website.  These should be the bare minium that you do to improve SERP ranking, they are all relatively easy and once you get it down it will be a breeze.  I wish that when I first started someone created a similair list as it would have saved a bunch of searching on my part.  Now I incorporate every one of these tactics to each new website, after time you will hold that first spot in google in no time!

• Include Keyword in <h1> tags
• Include Keyword in <title> tags
• Make sure to have keyword at least once in Meta Tags
• Design websites using CSS, this takes less code out of the page which leaves more room for Google to find the keywords
• Have the keyword naturally within the content, but make sure to include it multiple times
• Instead of simply using Home in the navigation use something like ‘Keyword Home’
• Use the keyword in alt image texts to get more keywords
• Rename pages to fit the keyword, do not use numbers or abbreviations in page names

If you follow these simple steps you should notice an increase in the ranking immediatly.  These steps are all straight foward and should be implemented with ease, if you do not use them you look like a total SEO newbie.  They are some of the easiest ways to increase search engine ranking without much effort at all.
